Bird should just fly to Europe

Greg Bird is just wasting his time trying to resurrect his career at the Cronulla Sharks.
The NRL team from the Shire have simply had enough of his misdemenours off the field and are willing to let him go pronto.
So why the hold up?
There have been two meetings between the Sharks and Bird and neither of them have come up with a valuable solution to a problem that has caused Cronulla grief for months now.
Bird really should just leave and forget about the $200,000 check awaiting him if he gets his way.
He'll make that money and more if heads to the English Super League, which is his only option now.
While $200,000 is a lot of money, Bird will most likely make that in six months playing overseas for an English club.
By the way, Bird has already pocketed $100,000 from the Sharks inability to close this case.
If anything, everything is going Bird's way at the moment, which emphasises why he really should consolidate the cash he has already managed to scab and head to England.
If he did love the Sharks, he should realise now that his services are no longer wanted, and therefore should let the club get on with its own off season with a minimum of fuss.
After all that has occured in the Shire these past couple of months, is that too much to ask from Bird?
Leave while you are ahead mate. You'll be doing the Sharks and yourself the world of good.
