Scott Prince always gets the scraps

Scott Prince's snub from the Australian test is a fair dinkum joke.
He has been the anchor for the Gold Coast Titans brilliant start this year and really deserves more than what he is being offered.
Australian halfback Johnathon Thurston rolled his ankle in training today and is unlikely to play against the Kiwis on Friday night.
Surely the most novice League supporter would have stated that Prince would be the ideal replacement for a player of Thurston's calibre.
Don't get me wrong, Thurston's replacement in Cooper Cronk is an outstanding player, not to mention his was the one that guided the Kangaroos to a record victory of New Zealand last October.
His form has been solid again this year but with all due respect to Cronk's game, Prince offers much more in attack and general skills.
Along with Billy Slater, Prince has been the form player of the Nrl this season and he alone has provided the Titans with a genuine force that makes them now one of the most respected teams in the competition.
Just have a look at it this way.
Without Prince, the Titans would suffer immensely. Without Cronk, the Storm would still probably make the top four.
Cronk has the benefit of being apart of one of the most dominant sides in the Nrl. If he is off his game, Cam Smith takes over the playmaking duties with little worries.
Prince doesn't have this luxery at the Titans and that is way he has become the dominant halfback in the Nrl this season.
Prince loves to take responsibility and thrives on adversity. In an Australian lineup, Prince could be so deadly.
His shortkicking game is the best in the league at the moment and his passing close to the line is unmatched. In terms of skill and creativity, Prince is probably the best halfback in the game.
But if he continually gets snubbed by selectors in both Tests and Origins, Prince might aswell pledge his allegiance to NSW.
If he was eligible, Prince would have the mortage on the number seven jersey for the blues for the next five years no questions asked.
But being a Queenslander can be hard sometimes.
