Tigers can be a pleasure to watch

Whether it be at the beginning of a game or near the climax, the TIgers always look for points.
They are one of few teams that really seem to enjoy their football and it was evident yesterday against Newcastle.
Although it wasn't the free flowing performance Tiger's fans are used to, the return of superstars Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah really grants Tim Sheens's men plenty of tries.
The Tiger's always seem to play with instinct and this is why they have become so fun to watch in recent seasons.
If they are in front by 40 or behind by the same margin, the Tigers never seem bereft of ideas to produce points.
When you look at their combinations in the key positions of fullback, hooker, five-eighth and half, all players involved really ooze talent and pointscoring prowess.
The likes of Brett Hodgson,Marshall, Head and Farah provide the TIgers with the necessary ingredients to tear opposition teams apart.
Marshall produces the speed and the step while Hodgson provides his immaculate support play to gain dividends off Marshall's talent.
Farah is probably the most lethal exponent out of dummy half while Mathew Head posseses a very astute kicking game.
All these players allow the Tigers to play football that is rarely matched by most teams in the NRL.
Regardless of their defensive incapabilities, the Tigers will always believe that through their attack, they are capable of chasing any lead possible in a match.
But like the Panthers, the Tigers play their best football when they are full of confidence and their fans gather together to support their cause.
They are an adrenaline team that really thrive on external energy provided by their support base.
That is why it was such a pleasure watching the Tigers win the 2005 premiership.
The Tigers displayed all the aspects of rugby league that have made it a fans game over the past century.
They won that premiership in style and everyone who witnessed it was in total awe of the potential of a game that looked so predictable in recent seasons.
Although it is early days yet, the Tigers have finally got their strongest roster back in tandem and it is set to now put other teams on notice.
On their day, there is no other team that can match them for flair and ball playing skill. In terms of playing as a team, there is no better to watch.
Despite coach TIm Sheens blasting of his team's defensive frailties, he will know that his side is only 80 minutes away from producing a quality performance.
And it could come as soon as next week against the competition leaders in the Titans. This should provide the Tigers with the acid test they need this season to determine if they are back to the instinctive football we know they are capable of producing.
If they click, watch out!!!!!!!!!!
